Frequently Asked Questions:
You'll just need a soft measuring tape for this!
1. Waist:
- Find your natural waistline - this is the smallest part of your torso, usually above your belly button.
- Wrap the tape measure comfortably around your waist, without sucking it in.
2. Hips:
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Find the fullest part of your hips (around your butt!).
- Wrap the tape measure around your hips and keep it level.
3. Inseam:
- You can do this two ways:
- On yourself: Put on a pair of well-fitting jeans and shoes you typically wear with jeans. Find the crotch seam (where the two leg seams meet in the front). Run the tape measure down the inside leg seam from the crotch seam to the floor next to your ankle.
- On a pair of jeans that fit you well: Lay the jeans flat on a surface. Straighten the leg out and measure from the crotch seam down the inner leg seam to the hem (bottom edge of the leg).
Tips:
- Don't pull the tape measure too tight, you want a comfortable fit.
- If you're between sizes, it's usually better to size up for jeans.
